568) Are there two distinct theologies of dispersion in the Psalms: Exile and Diaspora?

Introduction

This article traces intertextual trajectories from Ps 137 to other exilic Tehilim texts. It argues that although Sefer Tehilim (Book of Psalms) established a seemingly static diasporic theology of desperation and revenge in the aftermath of the destruction of the First Temple, not all subsequent exiles and diasporas were necessarily viewed in that same light.
